It’s essential to get the coat clean and is the perfect opportunity to check the condition of the skin to check for any potential problems, such as operation sites, skin tags, warts, ticks or fleas. Also washing the dog gets rid of a lot of dead hair and shows up matted areas.
A thorough brush through as you dry the coat removes all excess loose hair and flattens the coat ready for grooming

Shortening and shaping long leg hair and feet. Trimming the face and ears.
Ear care such as plucking ear hair if needed.
Trimming and shaping the tail and cutting nails if needed.
